When 4000 – 5000 grafts are removed after hair transplantation, will there be any trace of the donor area? Does nuchal baldness occur?
In the donor area, the hair follicle extends horizontally downwards and the hair follicle closes the areas taken. No scars are seen in patients with good hair density in the donor area, no scars are visible unless the hair density in the donor area is low and the patients with light-coloured hair hold longer than 0,5 cm.
